About Guilfoyle Strings
Welcome to Guilfoyle Strings!
Hi! I’m Mandy Guilfoyle- cellist, music educator, and founder of Guilfoyle Strings. With over 16 years of experience teaching violin, viola, and cello to students of all ages, I’ve built this studio as a home for joyful, meaningful music education rooted in kindness, creativity, and structure.
I hold a B.A. in Music, an M.M. in Music Education, and an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership- but more importantly, I’ve spent years learning what truly helps students thrive. Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to level up their skills, my goal is to meet them where they are and help them grow with confidence and clarity.
Guilfoyle Strings offers private lessons, group classes like Texas Fiddle Club and The Bow Frogs cello ensemble, and select refurbished instruments ready for their next chapter. I also create resources like The Parent’s Guide to Supporting Young Cellists to help families feel informed and empowered.
